Confidential AI advisory · CEO to CEO
The whole business. From the seat responsible for it.
Left Seat turns your financials, operating data, and hardest questions into a clear view of what's happening, why it matters, and what deserves your attention. Built by a sitting CEO, not a software vendor.
30 minutes. No deck, no pitch. Bring last month's numbers.
Why “Left Seat”? In aviation, the pilot in command sits in the left seat. You hold the left seat of your company — final authority, full accountability. Our job is to make sure you're never flying it on gut alone.
The problem
Your reports describe the departments. You have to understand the business.
Finance explains the numbers. Sales explains the pipeline. Operations explains execution. Nobody examines how the pieces interact — the issues only visible from your seat.
Financials arrive late and backwards-looking. You learn in May what the business did in March.
Every report is filtered. By the time news reaches the left seat, it's been rounded and softened.
AI is everywhere except your operating rhythm. Your people are experimenting with it. Your competitors are, too. Nobody's installed it where you sit.
What Left Seat does
Three engagements. Each one ends with you seeing more and guessing less.
The Walkaround
A pilot inspects the aircraft before every flight. We do the same to your business: margins, pipeline, operations, org. AI-assisted, operator-led, unfiltered. Every engagement starts here.
You get: the honest picture — a Left Seat Brief with the three levers that matter most.
START HEREThe Panel
The handful of numbers that actually run your company — live, readable, and analyzed. AI briefs you on what moved, why, and what to watch, in plain English, on systems you already own.
You get: a working instrument panel your own team runs — not another dashboard nobody opens.
Right Seat
Every pilot in command flies with a first officer. A standing session on your hard calls — pricing, people, capital, timing — with an operator and AI in the right seat.
You get: a second set of instrument-rated eyes. You keep the controls.
Engagements begin at $18,000 — fixed fees, agreed before we start. The Panel and Right Seat are offered to Walkaround clients only. Capacity is deliberately limited; every engagement carries a written responsiveness commitment.
The signature deliverable
The Left Seat Brief
Five sections, plain business language, no filler. It's what a report looks like when it's written for the person responsible for all of it.
What changed — the moves that matter, separated from ordinary operating noise.
Why it changed — the mechanism, traced to evidence in your own data.
What doesn't add up — where management's story and the numbers disagree.
What requires CEO attention — and, just as deliberately, what doesn't.
Decisions & next moves — a short list, each with an owner and a date.
What to bring
Bring the question that doesn't fit in a dashboard.
Where is margin actually leaking?
Which assumptions are carrying our forecast?
Why is growth creating more complexity than profit?
What changed before performance started slipping?
Which parts of the business are telling conflicting stories?
What deserves my attention — and what does not?
What might my team be too close to see?
“Every consultant sells altitude. Almost none of them have ever held the controls. I run a company myself — P&L, payroll, and all. Left Seat is the operating toolkit I built for my own seat, brought to yours.”
The record below is real. Identity is shared in the preflight call — confidentiality runs both directions here, which is exactly how your numbers will be treated.
How an engagement runs
Put the business in view.
Preflight
A 30-minute call. You bring last month's numbers; you learn exactly who you're talking to; we tell you honestly whether there's a fit — and what we'd look at first.
The Walkaround
The 30-day diagnostic. We inspect the whole aircraft and hand you the findings in plain English, ranked by impact.
In command
Install the Panel, keep the Right Seat cadence, or take the findings and fly solo. Your call — it's your airplane.
Straight answers
Questions CEOs actually ask.
Who are you, exactly?
A sitting CEO of a national company — the revenue and P&L in the record above are real. This is a confidential practice on both sides, so the name comes with the conversation, not the website. You'll know exactly who you're talking to in the first five minutes of the preflight call.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can read a P&L, you can use everything Left Seat builds. The entire point is that AI briefs you in operator language — not the other way around.
What happens to my data?
Your numbers stay yours. We work inside tools your company controls, under NDA, with access you can revoke any time. Nothing is used to train anything, and every engagement ends with your team owning the whole system.
What does it cost?
The preflight call is free. The Walkaround is a fixed fee — engagements begin at $18,000 — agreed before we start. The Panel and Right Seat are offered to Walkaround clients and scoped by complexity, not by your revenue. No surprises: you'll know the number before we begin.
How much of your attention do I actually get?
Capacity is deliberately small — one active engagement at a time, a handful of advisory clients, never more. Every agreement includes a written responsiveness commitment: named session windows, guaranteed reply times, and a continuity plan. If the seat is full, you'll hear that on the first call, not after you've signed.
Who is this for?
CEOs, presidents, and owner-operators of mid-size companies — roughly $25M–$150M — who make the final calls and want better instruments under them. If that's your seat, we should talk.
The buck stops in the left seat. The guesswork doesn't have to.
One call. Thirty minutes. Bring your numbers and leave with the first three things we'd look at — whether you hire us or not.
